Focus on gratitude

Focusing on Gratitude can change your personal outlook and lead to increased happiness in many areas of your life. There are multiple ways to promote and express gratitude on a regular basis.

Keep a gratitude journal. Make it a habit to write down daily one thing you are grateful for. This will help you to look for at least one thing as you go throughout your day that you will be able to put into your journal.

When having conversations with friends, family, or co-workers, start with sharing one thing that is going right for you; instead of sharing all your current struggles like many people do.

Write a thank-you note or email. You can make yourself happier and nurture your relationship with others by writing a thank-you message expressing your appreciation of that person's impact on your life.

Count your blessings. Pick a time every week to sit down in self-reflection, meditation, or prayer in celebration of what went right this week.

Many people experience and express gratitude in multiple ways. It’s when you decide to make it a priority that you will see real change in your daily life!
